We are delighted to announce the appointment of Gary Perrin as our new Musical Director.

Gary graduated from the University of Huddersfield majoring in Conducting working under Phillip McCann. He is a Brass teacher in Leicestershire and the conductor of Foresters Brass. He has also achieved many successes with the Ratby Mid Band, including becoming the Midlands and Wychavon Third Section champions in 2022.

Gary says “I’m excited to start working with a great band who are enthusiastic about progressing this year. To be given this opportunity at only 27 to conduct a midlands top section band is something I couldn’t turn down. I look forward to standing in front of the band and working towards what will be an exciting year of concerts and contests.” We welcome Gary to our band and very much look forward to working with him.
