Jenni started playing when she was 30 years of age at Clipstone Colliery Band on cornet in 1989. From there Jenni played with Burbage (Buxton) Band, Darley Dale Band, Riddings, Newstead, Shirland, Melton, Hucknall & Linby for a few years where she played cornet and baritone and joined Carlton Brass on cornet before joining Blidworth on percussion about 4 years ago.

 

Jenni also played for a long spell with Boobs and Brass on baritone and cornet, and she also played for quite a few years with the Newark and Sherwood Concert band on cornet and percussion, whilst playing for a brass band and had great pleasure in playing with them at the RNCM fairly recently. Jenni also currently plays with the Ratby Day Band on 1st baritone which she enjoys very much.

 

Jenni has played with bands at Pontins, Butlins, Blackpool, Leamington Spa, Leicester and various Area locations. She has also played at the National Finals of Great Britain on a few occasions at Harrogate, Birmingham and Cheltenham in various sections but never played at the Albert Hall.
