Graham started playing at 11 years old with the Kirkby Colliery band, and since then Graham has played with other local bands including Bestwood, Matlock, Pleasley, Newstead and Hucknall & Linby.

Graham has played cornet throughout his playing career, bar two brief stints on sop (quote “never again”)

Graham then joined the Blidworth Welfare Band in 2015 and has since been a member of team Front Row.
