Sutton in Ashfield Concert Review

Blidworth Welfare Band returned to Sutton in Ashfield on Saturday 21st April for their annual concert with the Sutton in Ashfield Choral Society.

The second half of the concert was opened by the choral society before Blidworth Welfare Band returned with a movie section comprising of the theme from Batman the Movie and the band's second soloist of the evening, Sara Baldwin on flugel performing Aranjuez Mon Amour from the 1989 film, Brassed Off.

Concluding the concert after the final choral set, the band performed Steven Ponsford's work, Turris Fortissima.
