Pawel vstarted on trumpet at 6 years old and went to the Joseph Elsner School of Music in Poland. After moving to the UK he joined Holbeach Town Band, which is when he first played on a cornet, and later played with Stamford Brass both on cornet and percussion. Pawel was also a member of the Lincolnshire County Groups Orchestras where he sat principal trumpet for three years. After moving to Nottingham, Pawel has played with Carlton Brass, Newstead, and GUS. He was also principal cornet of the university of Nottingham brass band, principal trumpet of the wind and symphony orchestras, as well as lead trumpet in the Moonlighters big band. Pawel is now musical director of the university brass band during his third year studies of aerospace engineering.
Pawel joined the band in September 2024 on assistant principal cornet and in December 2024 accepted the Principal Cornet seat!
